Why TEEFS Exists
Rescue work saves lives. But it often comes at the cost of the people doing the saving.
At TEEFS Foundation, we believe the well-being of animals and the humans who care for them are deeply connected. Too often, rescue founders step in with open hearts and leave with empty reserves, burned out, isolated, and under-resourced.
TEEFS exists to change that.
We walk alongside the people doing the life-saving work, offering structure, visibility, and support to help them not just survive, but thrive.

Our story
TEEFS Foundation was born out of both love and frustration.
Love- for the animals we fight for, and the people who fight for them.
Frustration- with systems that leave small, ethical rescues to carry
enormous weight with little support.
We saw the burnout. We felt the gaps. And we knew something had to change.
So we built TEEFS Foundation: a nonprofit designed not to compete with rescues, but to walk beside them, lifting the load, amplifying their work, and creating space to breathe.
This isn’t just a mission. It’s a movement for sustainability, equity, and real community in animal welfare.
